The story of the movie Ori Devuda begins by showing three best friends, Arjun, Anu and Mani. Arjun and Anu decided to get married and were wholly supported by their parents. After getting married, Arjun thinks that his life with Anu is loveless. He also feels that he should have married Meera, his childhood love (after meeting her on specific occasions). All this results in a big problem between Arjun and Anu, who finally decide to divorce.
Arjun meets two strangers who claim themselves as God and his assistant on the day of his divorce. God offers Arjun tickets to change his past by rejecting Anu in the first place before getting married. Later with the ticket, Arjun re-enters his past and tries to attach to his childhood love Meera. But his mind feels the change, making him realize that Anu is his perfect match and he loves her more than anything.
